Due to the negative impact of COVID-19 on hospitality industry, all projects were on hold therefore lost my Job on June 30, 2020 and worked on different consultancy assignments which includes Feasibility and review of new Hotel Construction and Development Projects, Internal Controls and Financial Review of Restaurants and Food Outlets, Financial Consultancy as a Head of Finance & CFO for day to day operations, Taxation, Internal Controls, review and implementation of SOPs, review and implementation of new ERP Munshi10 for Hotels, dealing with Government departments for Taxation issues, filing of Sales Tax returns. Joined Bismillah Group as GM Finance [BOD] in June 2021 [ www.oneconstitutionave.com ] for their Project of One Constitution Avenue Islamabad which includes (i) 51 Story Grand Hyatt Franchised Hotel Tower with 250 Rooms, 280 Serviced Apartments, Restaurants and Banquet Facilities. (ii) 2 Apartments Towers of 23 story with 254 Apartments, (iii) Shopping Mall, Offices Tower. I joined Sevens Holding Wll Head Office Bahrain [ www.sevensholding.com ] and Royal Saray Resort Wll [ www.royalsaray.com Previously managet by Jumeirah and Accor ] as a Director Of Finance in February 2022. Reduced per occupied room cost, food & beverage cost percentage and overheads without comprising on standards through effective internal controls, audit, cost containment meetings, Profit Protection Plan and staff trainings. Also worked with M/s. McKinsey & Company on Transformation for increase in group profitability.  Assessed adequacy of Internal Checks & Controls and Implementing required changes to plug loop holes in the Operation and Financial Policies & Procedures. ERP Munshi10 in Hotels.  Implemented online purchase system (Tejari system) in the Purchase Department. Implemented Wave in all hotels.  Got performance based 6 Promotions in 1st 7 years, worked on 9 designations in 6 main Hotels and Corporate Office.  Successfully negotiated with Union of workers in all Hotels and handled union matters alongwith HR.
